Following the successful completion, of our Basic Welding course, you will have a foundational understanding of the different types of welding as well as several weeks of practice welding.
First Step: If you plan on applying for the American Welding Society Scholarship you’ll want to get that process started right away (click the button below). Then register for the Welding Basics course you want to take here at RTEC (follow the link at the bottom of this page, to register for the RTEC Welding Basics course).
Next Step: Bring your skills up to Industry Standard and prepare for the American Welding Society test, to become certified through the American Welding Society. Once you’ve completed the Welding Basics course, the next step is to enroll in our Advanced Welding course.

Cost
$2,100 plus applicable tax.
This includes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit.
Welding Coat, Leather Gloves, Protective Eye-wear and Welding Helmet, Welper and Tape Measure.
Requirements
PREVIOUS WELDING EXPERIENCE IS NOT NECESSARY
We encourage all High School students to gain as much welding experience as possible through their high school offerings, prior to attending the Basic Welding class.
RTEC welding classes are taught by AWS Certified Instructors, with Certified Welding
Inspector and Certified Welding Educator credentials.
