CNC Machining:

During this 104-hour course you will gain the skills needed to operate modern manufacturing machine tools and equipment to pursue a CNC Machining career.

Topics covered:

  • Mill set up

  • Entry level geometric dimension & tolerancing concepts

  • Identifying machining processes

  • Successful machine operation

  • Proper tool handling

  • Utilizing applied measurement and inspection

  • Interpreting blueprints

  • Conventional machine tool theory

  • Identifying calibration equipment

  • Reviewing quality process controls

  • Metallurgy basics

  • Manufacturing Process (part designing and production)

Students will have the opportunity to earn:

*NIMS Credentials

**HAAS Mill Certificates

**HAAS Lathe Certificates potentially avaiable if time allows.
